Product application:
Multimode QSFP+: Used for the application of multi-mode, for example, rack to rack, data center, 40G Ethernet, InfiniBand QDR, DDR and SDR.

Single-mode QSFP+: Used for the application of single mode, for example, switching points between data center and the Internet, switches, high-speed interconnection servers between routers and transmission equipment, rack to rack, 40G - LR4 Ethernet link, InfiniBand SDRS, DDR and QDR.

What should we pay attention to when we use QSFP+ optical modules of multimode and single-mode?
  • Ensure the QSFP+ optical module connects with the ends of the fiber jumper both are the same wavelength. A simple way to do this is the pull ring color of the module must be conformity.
  • In general, in order to ensure the accuracy of the data, short-wave QSFP + optical module connects with multimode optical fiber (that is the lake blue of OM3 or optical fiber jumper wire of OM4), and long wave QSFP + optical module connects with single-mode fiber (that is the yellow optical fiber jumper wire).
  • Do not overbend or twine cable when we using. This will increase light attenuation of the transfer process.
  • When we don’t use QSFP+ optical module, we must use dustproof plug to protect the aperture.
