Juniper QFX3500 switch and optical module solution
With the increasing demand for network performance and high cost performance of optical modules, it is particularly important to design a cost-effective scheme for the switch and optical modules in the data center. Today ETU-Link will introduces the matching scheme of Juniper QFX3500 switch with optical module.
Juniper QFX3500 Switch introduction
QFX3500 switch can provide 48 SFP+ ports and 4 QSFP+ ports. In the 48 SFP+ ports, 36 are available for 10GBE or 1GBE, and can have up to 18 1GBE copper ports. The remaining 12 ports can be used to support 2Gbps, 4Gbps, or 8Gbps fibre channel mode. Four QSFP++ high-speed ports can operate in 4x10Gbe mode, and can support 40Gbps fiber mode in the future.

As mentioned above, QFX3500 switches can support 1GBE, 10GBE and 40GBE interfaces, so there are many optical module solutions.
