1100G QSFP28 SR4

The 100G QSFP28 SR4 optical transceivers adopts 4-channel 25G NRZ multi-mode parallel technology, and the transmission distance can reach up to 70m or 100m by 12-core MPO patch cord (OM3/OM4) multi-mode fiber. It is widely used in 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet, OTN OTU4, 128GFC, InfiniBand 4x EDR.

 

2100G QSFP28 PSM4

The 100G QSFP28 PSM4 optical transceivers adopts 4-channel 25G NRZ single-mode parallel technology, and the transmission distance of single-mode fiber can reach up to 2km by 12-core MPO patch cord (G.652) . It is widely used in 100G PSM4 Ethernet and InfiniBand 4x EDR links.

 

3100G QSFP28 CLR4

The 100G QSFP28 CWDM4 optical transceiver adopts 4-channel 25G NRZ wavelength division multiplexing technology (CWDM4), and the transmission distance of single-mode fiber can reach up to 2km. It is widely used in 100G CWDM4 Ethernet and InfiniBand 4x EDR links.

 

4100G QSFP28 LR4

The 100G QSFP28 LR4 optical transceiver adopts 4-channel 25G NRZ wavelength division multiplexing technology (LWDM4), and the transmission distance can reach up to 10km by the duplex LC interface OS2 single-mode fiber. It is widely used in 100GBASE-LR4 Ethernet and OTN OTU4 links.

 

5100G QSFP28 ER4

The 100G QSFP28 ER4 optical transceiver adopts 4-channel 25G NRZ wavelength division multiplexing technology (LWDM4), and the transmission distance by single-mode fiber can reach up to 40km. It is widely used in 100GBASE-ER4 Ethernet and OTN OTU4 links.

 

The size of the 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver is the same as that of the QSFP+ optical module, and it also has 4 parallel data channels, but the transmission rate of each channel is increased from 10Gbit/s to 25Gbit/s, thus reaching a transmission rate of 100Gbps.

 

Using QSFP28 optical module can directly upgrade from 25G to 100G without going through 40G. Therefore, compared with 10G→40G→100G upgrade, the 10G→25G→100G upgrade method can greatly simplify the wiring system of the data center and reduce the laying cost of the wiring system .
