Our sales manager organized a product training courses again today. We also learned a lot of knowledge,share some of the key summary as follows:

1.The application of optical modules and passive products are Ethernet,ATM,SONET,SDH,Data center and Fast Ethernet.

2. Abbreviations for popular products :

SX represents 1.25G SFP 850nm LC 550m

LX represents 1.25G SFP 1310nm LC 10km/20km

EX represents 1.25G SFP 1550nm LC 40km

ZX represents 1.25G SFP 1550nm LC 80km

SR represents 10G SFP+ 850nm LC 300m

LR represents 10G SFP+ 1310nm LC 10km/20km

ER represents 10G SFP+ 1550nm LC 40km

ZR represents 10G SFP+ 1550nm LC 80km

3. DDM is digital diagnostic monitoring, its role is to monitor the voltage, current, temperature and displays the factory information. If a module does not have DDM function, once the products have problems, it will not be prompted Warning.

4.Fiber types are divided into single-mode fiber and multimode fiber. The core diameter of single-mode fiber is 9 / 125um and the core diameter of multimode fiber is 50 / 125um and 62.5 / 125um. The fiber types also have OM1（62.5/125um）、OM2（50/125um）、OM3（50/125um and OM4（50/125um).

5. The way our QC control the Quality

a.Material testing for Tosa and Rosa (Bosa), it can be reduce reject rate.

b.Product parameter testing: Output power , sensitivity, extinction ratio and eye diagram, the excellent parameter make the products working more steady.

c. The distance testing: the engineer will testing them by 20km bare optical fiber, the customer no worried about loss pocket.

d.Switch testing: Insert the module to the switch to check if work normally and audit the eeprom information.

e.Aging testing: install the module to the aging board , then working on it about 24 hours.This function is that found the failure product in advance before shipment and decreasing reject rate .
